80 rowan trees as a living symbol of the Great Victory

Today, a large patriotic event took place in Nizhnekamsk. In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a rowan tree garden was planted behind the house at 72 Khimikov Avenue. 80 rowan trees will become a living symbol of the memory of the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.


The initiative to plant trees here was put forward by residents of the district. This idea was implemented with the support of the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhnekamskneftekhim Directo rGeneral M.I. Falyakhov. Marat Inilovich spoke to students, representatives of government bodies, employees of Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and residents of houses who took part in this event. The acting head of the executive committee of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district R.I. Belyayev and the deputy of the State Duma A.R. Metshin also addressed the audience.



Each planted tree symbolizes one year since the Great Victory and is a tribute to the heroes who gave their lives for their homeland. The campaign has not only an ecological but also a deep patriotic meaning.


Neftekhimik hockey club representatives and Neftekhimik player Roman Abrasimov, headed by the Director General Igor Larionov, took part in the tree planting.
