Alexander Belyayev: «We know that we are in the race for a top-eight»

Alexander Belyayev speak with the media following the Neftekhimik' 5-2  win against the Admiral on 11/05/21. 

- Congratulations on a victory to all Neftekhimik fans! It was a hard-fought game. In the first period there was an equal game, the second period was a decesive one for us. We scored good goals on the power play. We played well at even strength and our PK unit did a great job.

- We can lose to Kunlun RS and a bit later got a win over Avangard. Why did it happen?

- There are no teams in the KHL. I would not say that Kunlun is a weak team. We just missed the opportunity to win. They punished us for our individual mistakes. We should forget it. We know that we are in the race for a top-eight and we should not lose our points to our rivals.
