Alexander Dergachyov: «We just need to analyze our game and move on»

Neftekhimik forward Alexander Dergachyov speaks with the media after a following 4-2 loss against Salavat Yulaev.

– You know, we miss hockey and we want to get into this game rhythm as soon as possible. These exhibition games a great thing to do that. It is bad that we lost, but now is the time to look at the combinations and lines in order to find the best chemistry.

– Salavat Yulaev played a fast-paced hockey from the very beginning of the game. Did it surprise you?

– Yeah, in some way.

– Our team was focused on the counterattacks. Was it a coaching staff’s task?

– No. Initially, the game plan was different, but the game made its own adjustments, so we played more defensively. Our goaltender Andrei Tikhomirov did a great job and kept us in the game.
