Alexander Panov: «I could have scored more and helped the team win»

28.10.2026

Reaktor forward Alexander Panov speaks with the media after a following 4–5 loss against JHC Spartak MHA.

– It was a hard–battled game. We managed to turn the momentum our way in the third period, but a string of unfortunate mistakes cost us the win. We simply lost track of things in a couple of moments – perhaps we relaxed a little too much after going ahead.

– Did the long break between games have any effect?
– It did – in both positive and negative ways. On the plus side, we had time for some solid training sessions and to improve our physical condition. On the downside, we lost our game rhythm and, perhaps, some confidence as well.

– Did scoring two goals soften the disappointment of the loss?
– I was chasing a hat trick and had plenty of chances, but luck was not with me. Scoring felt good at the time, but that feeling is gone now that the game is over – I know I could have scored more and helped the team win.

– There were noticeably more fans than usual in the fan section today – did you notice that?
– Many thanks to everyone who came out. We really felt the support; it made playing much easier.
