– I would like to congratulate the fans on this win! It was a fantastic game with plenty of goals scored – games like that are a real treat. It feels even better when you get the right result, so the emotions are great. But we have a tough road trip coming up; for now, we have some time to catch our breath and prepare for it.– Did conceding the first goal somehow fire the team up or provide an emotional boost that led to scoring so many?
– You never know who is going to score first, so you have to try to react the right way to every goal – whether you score or concede. It was good that we responded the way we did to that opening goal, and even in the third period, after letting in a few goals, we did not let the opponent keep up the pressure.
– How did you score goals?
– My teammates did all the work – I just had to hit the target. Both times, I managed to find open space well, and all that was left was to put the puck in the net. So, a big thanks to the guys!
