Neftekhimik forward Damir Zhafyarov talks with the media after a following 2–3 loss against Severstal.
– It was a pretty tight game, which ended with a difference of one goal. Unfortunately, we were unable to tie the score up at the end of the game. It is good that the game plan started to work. So we are working hard.
– Compared to yesterday's game, you had a pretty an intense game. Do you think it depends on the opponent?
– We played the second game in a row. Severstal, if I am not mistaken, rested yesterday. In addition, yesterday the stands were almost full, which made it more difficult for us to play. But I can say that both yesterday and today were quite interesting games.
– You had two good goal–scoring chances.
– If I had known, I would have scored these chances. I think everything is ahead. There is time to improve certain components. So I hope all the shortcomings will go away.
