Danila Kvartalnov: «We could not break down their defense»

– Unfortunately, we were not able to win. Lada played tight and disciplined. We could not break down their defense. We tried to play our game. Their goaltender kept his team in the game and their players blocked a lot of shots. We played well, but we could not get the win.
– Perhaps fatigue played a key role in today's game?
– I think we looked fresher than our opponent. We just need to capitalize on our chances, especially against a team that plays defensively. So I cannot blame fatigue.
– What caused the poor finishing?
– First and foremost, it was our opponent, who, I repeat, they played tight today. They are not in the best position in the standings, so they played carefully and were more disciplined defensively.
