The home team scored first goal of the game in the seventh minute of the first. Neftekhimik forward Nikita Khoruzhev tied the game up ten minutes later.In the second, Dinamo Mn got its lead back. Seven minutes later, Tochilkin scored his first of the season and made it. Minute before the end of the second, the home team got its lead for the second time.
In the third, Dolganov did his best and kept his team in the game. Minutes before the end of the third, Neftekhimik got an extra player on the ice and Tochilkin scored his second of the night and save the day for his team.
In overtime, Barulin scored a game–winning goal on the rebound.
