Evgeny Kashnikov: «We tried to tie the game up»

Neftekhimik defenseman Evgeny Kashnikov speaks with the media after a following 0–3 loss against AK Bars.

– We always try to do our best. We fought until the very end, we need to score goals. The opposing goaltender kept his team in the game. We did not score on the power play.

– Perhaps, after game against Torpedo there was luck of emotions.
– No. There are games every other day, we are a young team. There are important games ahead, we need to win.

–  What was the key moment of the game?
– I think the tension was there until the last second. In the third, we tried to tie the game up. Maybe we should have scored first goal of the game...

– The team had a lot of scoring–chances. If your team had scored at least one goal, maybe the game would have gone according to a different scenario?
– If you had scored the first goal, the game would have turned out differently. You need to play with responsibility and not relax even for a second. I would also like to thank the fans who came to support us. We appreciate it.

– Will you forget today's game and get ready for the next one?
– Yes, sure.
