Evgeny Mityakin: «We have time to work on our mistakes»

Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin speaks with the media after a following 2–5 loss against Salavat Yulaev.

– Today, like in last game, the teams scored plenty of goals in the third period. Why?

– Although we play preseason games, no one wants to lose. In the third period, we did not have any other options; we just had to score. You know, it was a great team effort to tie the game up. This is good. At the same time, we should play to the very end.

– After 2–2, your team conceded three goals in two minutes. What happened? Did the team lose its focus on the game?

– I have already noted that we must play to the very end. The first shift after scoring a goal is the most important one. You should not give up any goals. We have time to work on our mistakes before the beginning of the season.
