Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin speaks with the media after a following 2–5 loss against Avtomobilist.
– We had a good first period, scored first goal of the game and had a game advantage. After that, we made mistakes.
In the second period, we lost the thread of the game. Honestly, I do not know why. Nevertheless, we created chances near the opponent's goal, and they were good chances, even 100%. However, we were not able to capitalize on them properly. We can only take the first period as a positive.
I would not say we played poorly at the end of the game. I think it was a coincidence that we had two such games. We will learn from our mistakes and prepare for the next games.
