– The team scored plenty of goals. It seemed like conceding the first goal actually fired the team up.– Not really. You have to play from the first minute to the last. It does not matter if you concede first or score first. The game lasts 60 minutes, and you have to play right to the end.
– Where did all these goals come from? We had not seen that kind of scoring ability before.
– Our attack really clicked. We created a lot of chances and converted them. That said, there were still plenty we did not put away – we hit the post and the crossbar. We need to carry this same mindset into future games so we can keep finishing like that.
– Alexei Gennadyevich Pepelyayev mentioned that after the road trip, you analyzed your mistakes and fixed the issues that had hurt your away performance.
– Yes, we held meetings, reviewed a lot of video, and adjusted our preparation. We spent two days getting ready for this game and working on correcting those errors. I hope we have fixed them. We need to keep going like this – playing confidently on offense and solidly on defense.
