Exhibition game: Naberezhnye Chelny vs Neftekhimik

19.04.2025

On April 18, a big hockey celebration took place in Chelny – an exhibition game between HC Chelny and Neftekhimik. Tickets were sold out two weeks before the game – the stands were completely full. Residents of the auto city were eagerly awaiting the confrontation between the local team and the “wolves”.

A friendly and festive atmosphere reigned at the Arena.  Not only fans of the local team loudly supported their club in the stands, fans of Neftekhimik were also noticed. During the break, hockey players of the Nizhnekamsk team, namely Filipp Dolganov, German Tochilkin and Vladimir Bryukvin signed autographs and took pictures with those who wanted – a huge queue formed for the players.

In addition to the game itself, there were many activities and competitions involving hockey players and fans. Players competed in power shots and accuracy, and also performed shootouts. However, Nizhnekamsk hockey players were not particularly lucky in the shootout. It is good that our mascot Wolf also came, so he scored an incredible shootout goal. Fans also had the opportunity to make a pass to a player of their favorite team, which could later become a goal. Such interaction increased fan involvement in the event and pleased not only fans, but also hockey players. Based on the results of the competitions, additional points were added, which were reflected on the scoreboard.

As for the game, it was in the full sense for the fans – dynamic, with a lot of goals – these are the kind of games that spectators like. Both goaltenders declared for the game, Yaroslav Ozolin and Igor Bobkov, managed to show themselves - they played half the match each. Poyarkov, Khoruzhev, Urakov, Kapustin and Yuzlenko scored for the "wolves". But five goals were not enough for victory, the hosts were a little luckier.

The final game score: 5:4. The score taking into account the contests: 10:7 in favor of Chelny. The eventful evening ended with a traditional group photo.

After that, Neftekhimik moved on – new cities, new events and master classes are ahead.
