Neftekhimik got a win over Neftyanik 4–2.
For today's game Igor Grishin’s staff decided to have a look at young playerss – giving defenseman Danis Nizamov and forward Amir Gizyatov a real shot to prove themselves.
Neftekhimik took the initiative from the very first minutes. Nonetheless, the first real chance to score came right in front of our own goal.
Later, on the power play, German Tochilkin scored first goal of the game.
Midway through the second, Neftekhimik had a 3–goal lead. We scored two shorthanded goal with 20 seconds gap. Two textbook counterattacks by Nikita Khoruzhev and Rafael Bikmullin resulted in two scored goals. After that, the home team scored on the power play and one more goal later.
Late in the game, Tochilkin scored an empty-net goal – 4:2.
