Neftekhimik forward German Tochilkin speaks with the media after a following 5–2 win over Kunlun RS.
– There was one task – to win! This game was an important one for us, that is why we had such a mood. We wanted to finish the first stage of the championship with a good mood, and we did it, although it took us a long time to get into the game at its initial stage.
It was a very tense, but interesting game. Everyone wanted to win. I think this is the main reason for the large number of shots on goal for both teams. I would also like to mention the goaltenders, both our team's and the opponent’s. They played great!
I scored two today. I thank my teammates who helped me. I could have scored a hat–trick, but it did not quite work out.
