Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 6–1 win over Sputtnik.
– Before the game, we talked to the team about how the young Sputnik team had matured and got used to the League. We warned our team that they would be digging in and playing tough. And that's what happened. That's why the first period was difficult, we were looking for our game for a long time. But the goal was beautiful. Andrei Yeryomenko opened the scoring and then scored the first hat–trick of his career. He could have scored more, of course. But we still praised him. A hat–trick is an event in a career. And we, our entire coaching staff, praised Makar Kurbatov for showing fighting qualities, spirit - he fought and got the team going.
We wanted to give Vladislav Rukhlyadev the opportunity to have a shutout for the second game in a row. We set this task for the team during the second break. It's a pity we couldn't fulfill the plan. And we also couldn't take advantage of the power play.
Even with such a score, our game had enough shortcomings. But maybe that's good. There will be no complacency before the tour along the Novosibirsk-Novokuznetsk route. Everyone understands that matches against the teams of the Golden Division are special. A test of maturity. The guys want to show a 100% result in December.
