Igor Fyodorov: «Everything will be fine»
08.09.2024
Reaktor head coach Igor Fyodorov talks about a 3–0 win against Tolpar.
– This is a first win after two such games for us, it was tough to play with two and a half lines. Now there are new guys, new blood has poured in. Well done, it was tough in some areass, they were not ready physically, but how they fit into the team, the way they act on the bench, it is worth a lot, and we will improve our physicality. Everything will be fine.– In the third it seemed that the guys were afraid of winning and started to play defensive hockey too early?
– We were not playing against a yard team, the guys from 2006 and 2007 are very skilled, we invited guys from other regions. The main thing is that we did not concede any goals. There were mistakes in some places, there always be mistakes. You cannot play hockey without mistakes.
– Today Semyon Lyubalin got his first shutout in the JHL. How would you rate the way he played?
– Well done, he deserved this shutout. Semyon kept us in the game and I also want to point out the team effort, the guys blocked a lot of shots. The same Marchinsky blocked so many during 5 on 3 hockey. Everyone came out charged with winning, that is why the result is like that. Today there were four lines, although someone is physically weak, someone technically, but four lines.
