Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 3–2 shootout win over Krasnoyarskie Rysi.
– When a team wins, the emotions are only positive! The God of hockey exists, and today he gave us back the win. But the third period... We were talking about penalties in the locker room, but at the beginning of the third, we had two more minutes, which resulted in our opponent scoring. It didn't take long before we conceded a second goal due to a ridiculous mistake. Thank God, we won. That is the most important thing.
– Yesterday, you noted that our opponent wanted to win more. What do ytou think about this game?
– I guess we had more desire to win today. Yes, we didn't get off to a great start; the Krasnoyarskie Lisys had the advantage. We took control in the second half. And in the second period, we scored twice, making it 2-0. I have to admit, we played brilliantly in that period. And in the third period, as I mentioned earlier, a penalty and a mistake led to two goals conceded.
– Kurbatov, Krivolapov, and Andreyev did not play today. How much did this fact impact the game?
– Of course, it had a big impact on us. Krivolapov is the leader, Kurbatov is the captain, the engine of the team. When Makar plays well, he's a joy to watch, but when he starts making things up, it's unpleasant. Andreyev is our grenadier. We certainly missed these guys today.
– Should we expect them back in the next game?
– I think so. Now we'll rest, recover, and heal our ailments. We have a crucial match against Ladya coming up. We'll fight hard and, of course, try to make our fans, family, and friends happy.
