Igor Fyodorov: «We could not take advantage of the power play we had»

– We outplayed our opponent for most of the game, but we did not outplay their goaltender. This is largely the reason for our defeat. And we could not take advantage of the power play we had. Ten minutes of the power play is such a boost, it could have turned the game in our favor.Not only in shots, but also in toughness, we significantly surpassed one of the most mature and strong teams in the League.
At the end of the game, we scored the goal that we needed to score. We needed a goal to have a positive attitude for the next game. We pulled the goaltender, released an extra player – we scored 4 seconds before the siren. At least it worked out.
Bad luck cannot be forever, so I asked the team to be optimistic about the next game.
