Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 3–1 win over Tyumensky Legion.
– We created a lot of goal–scoring chances, but do not took advantage of it. In games like this one, whoever scores first in the third period wins.That is exactly what happened. The guys did a great job, beating a team we always have a hard time playing against.– In the third period, you outplayed your opponent not only in the score but also in the game. What did you say in the locker room during the break?
– All the guys understand perfectly well that we cannot afford to lose points. We were playing against a good opponent with older players. Thank God, the guys realized we had no way to retreat. Yes, the first few shifts were not great. Then we switched to three lines, with two defensive pairs. As a result, we brought the game to a win.
– How different was today's game from the last one?
– After the first game, I told the guys that there are no easy teams for us. Tyumensky Legion is a strong opponent. That is why, two days before the game, I asked everyone to take the game seriously. As I said before, we always have tough games against this team. I would like to mention Lyubalin. I do not like to praise goalies, but he played well.
