Igor Fyodorov: «We played well»
31.10.2025

Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 3–4 overtime loss against Krasnoyarskie Rysi.
– We played well. We faced two evenly matched teams who did not want to lose. Our opponent probably looked stronger offensively. We could have won in regulation time, but a ridiculous penalty at the end led to a disappointing outcome. Furthermore, a goal was disallowed in overtime. And after that, a defenseman's mistake led to us conceding a goal. I will add that the visitors wanted to win more than we did, so they got what they wanted.
– How much of an emotional impact does a disallowed goal in overtime have on your team?
– In hockey, all the players have to be mentally strong. After a disallowed goal, we had to score more. So it did not affect us at all.
– All three games against Krasnoyarskie Rysi this season have been close to win, with tension right up until the final seconds. Why?
– I attribute it to a good selection of players. The teams fight hard and do not want to give up. Basically, we have tough games against all teams. There are no easy teams.
