Igor Grishin: «I hope that we will turn the bad luck around»

Neftekhimik head coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media after a following 2–3 loss against Severstal.
– Just like in the previous game, we came out unfocused and conceded a quick goal. This happened in the first and third periods, although the guys came out fired up. I am glad that the game is going well. I hope that we will turn the bad luck around. It was an equal game between two fast teams that like to attack and hold the puck. Today, unlike yesterday's game, the game looked easier, more fun. Both we and the opponent had a lot of chances. I hope that if we convert at least 10 percent of these chances, we will start scoring more than three goals.– What was the reason for the conceded goal at the end. Loss of focus on the game or a combination of circumstances?
– The puck is conceded as a result of some mistake, there is always a certain reason for this. It seemed that we worked hard, but the puck treacherously flew into the goal. This means that in this situation, the opponent played cleverly. Although we conceded, Zhafyarov had a good chance to tie the score 20 seconds before the end. Unfortunately, we were unable to do this.
– Today, the players tried to play the puck to the right chance...
– This is our problem for now, which comes from the training process. The training itself is ultimately aimed at scoring a large number of goals. This is our condition. The guys pass on their responsibility to their partner. Our team must have 20 responsible and self–confident players. Self-confident players must take the initiative and try to score a goal. Sometimes it happens that a close scoring moment does not result in an accurate throw. In the training process, we constantly point out this problem.
