Ilnar Misbakhov: «The nine-day pause cost us some rhythm»
28.10.2026
Reaktor Head Coach Ilnar Misbakhov speaks with the media after a following 4–5 loss against JHC Spartak MHA.
– The nine-day pause cost us some rhythm. We came out flat and gave up an easy goal. The opponent added a second, but we answered with three goals of our own. We were building momentum and went ahead 4–3, yet an experienced player’s error proved decisive.– So would you say individual errors cost you today?
– Yes. Our veteran line was on the ice for four goals against today. We did not execute in certain situations, and it cost us.
– How do you explain the score swinging back and forth today?
– That is just good youth hockey. Spartak MAH is a solid team. We found our game as the game went on as well. But with a 4–3 lead, you cannot lose. You have to know how to close out a game.
