Reaktor 4–3 Irbis 9/17/2026

17.09.2026

Reaktor got a win over Irbis 4–3.

This game was crucial for both teams, especially the hosts. For them, it was a do-or-die game: Reaktor came in carrying the weight of two losses to start the season.

In the opening period, the teams – as is often the case
spent time sizing each other up. While Reaktor goaltender Damir Shayakhmetov (entrusted with the starting role that day) was called into action frequently, his counterpart, Kazan’s Gleb Grigoryev, had little to do  at least for a while. The visiting goaltender eventually took a two-minute penalty for delay of game, and Timur Makarov  assisted by Kirill Stolyarov and Vladislav Chertkov  opened the scoring. The teams headed into the first intermission with that scoreline. Statistically speaking, our team arguably made the most of the chances it had: Reaktor managed only four shots on goal, compared to 14 for the visitors.

The score remained unchanged until the 34th minute, when Kazan’s Artur Gimadiev leveled the game. However, the visitors’ celebration was short-lived; with less than two minutes remaining in the second period, our guys executed a strong rush attack initiated by Alexander Panov. He capped the play off with a follow-up shot. Midway through the third period, Reaktor scored twice in quick succession. First, David Romanov finished off a lightning-fast rush down the left wing with a precise shot
aided by a pinpoint pass from Ilya Vasilyev. A couple of minutes later, Vasilyev himself scored in an almost identical situation, making it 41. It seemed such a comfortable lead would allow Reaktor to cruise to victory. The visitors, however, had other ideas and narrowed the gap to a single goal. All credit to our guys for holding firm and securing the win  their first of the season.
