Neftekhimik defenseman Islam Gainullin speaks with the media after a following 3–2 SO win over Amur.
– It was a close game for both teams. We took advantage of power play chances we got and took the lead. Later, we were penalized too much and let an opposing team managed to tie the game up. Fortunately, we got a win in SO.
– How different is it for you to play in the KHL in compare with VHL and JHL?
– I like to play here. This is a high-level hockey. I am just happy that I have this chance to develop my game.
– When your team conceded two goals during pk, how did the team feel?
– Everything was okay. We were ready to play until the very end no matter what the score was on the scoreboard.
– Are you confident on the ice?
– Game after game I get more and more confidence, everything is fine.
