Neftekhimik forward Kirill Urakov speaks with the media after a following 1–2 overtime losss against Barys.
– Unfortunately, we lost this game. I think that we dominated throughout the game. Maybe in the first period, when we conceded a goal, the opponent played better. Overall, we showed our character and played with a good discipline. This probably gave us some energy. But even in this case, we played better and should have capitalized on our chances. Especially at the beginning of the game, when we could have scored a couple of goals. But, unfortunately, things did not turn out the way we wanted.
– We played two games against Barys in three days. How are these games different? What did the opponent improve?
– They were angrier today. In the last game, we capitalazied on our goal–scoring chances, in which case you get more momentum. The game just comes by itself. In today’s game, we could not score, the opponent's goaltender kept his team in the game.
– Today, you played your 400th KHL game. It is a pretty big achievement…
– Of course, I am very happy about it, but I want more. To do this, you need to work hard, work hard every day, and keep your place in the team. Today, I would be happier with a win.
