Neftekhimik got a win over Metallurg Mg 4–2.

Neftekhimik defenseman Ilya Khokhlov opened the scoring in the eighth minute of the first period. Metallurg Mg tied it up at the last second of the period. It the tenth minute of the second period, the home team got a one-goal advantage. Nevertheless, two minutes later, Rafael Bikmullin made it 2–2!

Thirty-six seconds later, Ilya Khokhlov scored his second goal of the game. 

In the final period, Neftekhimik did not concede any goals. Ilya Khokhlov did want to stop and scored his first KHL career hat-trick!
