Mikhail Sergachev: «To be honest, I am impressed»

Mikhail Sergachev held master classes for Neftekhimik Hockey School players.
Two-time Stanley Cup Champion and a student of the Nizhnekamsk hockey school Mikhail Sergachev will held master classes for two days for players of the Neftekhimik. After the first training session with the guys from the 2013 team, he shared his impressions:
– Here is a very good ice, hard, much better than in the NHL, I am not kidding. I did exercises on puck possesion and on the situation on the ice, so that they could move the puck and see their partners, could pass at any time. The guys are great, they try, they do the exercises very well. To be honest, I am impressed. Neftekhimik and the city have given me a lot, and I, in turn, want to help the guys. And I hope that they will become better, doing these exercises.
For the guys, meeting with a famous hockey player, who also took his first steps in the sport in this arena, is a valuable experience and a huge motivation to develop and become better.

– Today, a famous hockey player, a graduate of Nizhnekamsk, Mikhail Sergachev, visited us. I know that he was born in Nizhnekamsk and now plays in the NHL. When such players come, it is as if you yourself become a NHL player, you want to show your best sides.
Together with Mikhail, the master class was also held by Neftekhimik players Alexander Dergachyov and Raul Yakupov, who demonstrated how to perform this or that exercise.
"I really liked it, and I learned some things from what Misha showed. It is very interesting to try myself as a coach. I have always liked working with children. The boys listened to us, which is nice," said Raul Yakupov.
