Neftekhimik scored first goal of the game in the middle of the first period. Marat Khairullin deflected Mikhail Sidorov’ shot right into the net.

Later, Dinamo Riga tied the game up at the last minutes of the second period and took the lead from the first minutes of the third period. Andrei Chivilyov made it 2-2 right before 3 minutes of the final whistle.
