Neftekhimik lost to Sochi 3–5.
Sochi scored first goal of the game five minutes before the end of the period.At the start of the second, the guest team extended its lead with a short–handed goal and scored one more goal (0–3). Two minutes later, Neftekhimik defenseman Timur Khairullin scored Neftekhimik's first goal.
In the third period, Neftekhimik captain Alexander Dergachyov scored a power play goal. Two minutes later, Sochi made it 2–4. Neftekhimik did not want to give up and Andrei Belozyorov scored Neftekhimik's third goal (Andrei also set a long–awaited organization record for goals scored in a single season – 25). Our team tried to save the game and had an extra player on the ice. Unfortunately, Sochi scored an empty net goal.
