During off-season, Neftekhimik hockey players are getting ready for the upcoming season.
On July 17, the team will held its first on-ice practice.
«We will prepare for next two weeks, then we will play preseason games, tournaments and work on tactics.» - said Oleg Leontyev.
«We are a great team. I have known plenty of teammates for a long time. Nizhnekamsk is a pleasant city, here are excellent conditions for athletes. I want to be useful for the team here.» - said Dmitry Zhukenov.
«A number of leading players left the team; the team signed other pro players, who, I am sure, will benefit the team. The line-up is not completed yet, new players will join the team in order to strengthen the offensive line. By the season we hope to be ready.» - said Oleg Leontyev.
Last season, Neftekhimik managed to make the playoffs and had a great series against Ak Bars. Nizhnekamsk won two games; unfortunately, the team did not make it into round 2. The team has ambitious plans for the new season.

Yeah, we have some changes in our roster and we get to know each other. Everything is great. I want to help the team to win every game in the new season.
