Oleg Leontyev: «This is not a lottery»

Neftekhimik head coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 3–2 SO win over Amur.

– Congratulations on this victory to our team and the fans who supported us! We really appreciate it! This is the high-level skill of hockey players, I think. This is not a lottery. It was a tough game for both sides. Unfortunately, we got two penalties that led to two conceded goals. We have some things to work on. We are preparing for the next games.

– How would you rate the game way Nikita Setdikov played?

– I have known Nikita for a long time. He has proved that he is a good player. Of course, it is hard to join a new team; I am glad that he scored.

Andrei Martemyanov, the head coach of HC Amur:

– Of course, Neftekhimik put the pressure on in the first period; the team always plays very powerfully at home. During the break, we made some adjustments. I think in the second period we played better. In the third, we got penalties, and our team was shorthanded. We were too tired for overtime and SO. I think that this is good that we got 1 point.
