Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 4–1 win over Barys.
– Congratulations to everyone on this victory! Congratulations to the fans who came to support us in such a game. It was very great to see so many fans in the stands. Today was tough and sticky hockey. We tried to catch the opponent on counterattacks. Our players Bryukvin and Dea came out of the injury list. They added energy and confidence to us. In general, we took advatnage of our goal–scoring chances and scored good goals. We played with a good discipline. It is a tough victory, which has already been forgotten. We play every other day, so we are preparing for the next game.Barys Head Coach Galym Mambetaliyev:
– We missed the opponent's counterattacks. We did not play out the return. But it is okay, the team is slowly coming to its senses. The guys are gaining experience, since a lot of guys joined from the affiliated team. I think they will pick up the pace and do what is asked of them.
