Neftekhimik head coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 0–3 loss against Lada.

– In the previous game we made 41 shots, in this one – 43. In today's game, the opponent blocked 26 shots. We had great scoring chances, but the puck did not want to cross the kine. Plus, the visiting goalie was at his best.

We had a great desire to fight. There was pressure, there was a desire to score. But, I repeat, the puck did not go into the opponent's goal. At the end, there was not enough skill, a little cunning, somewhere a little endurance. But there is desire and play, that is good.

Lada head coach Oleg Bratash:

– We are happy with any victory, today's is no exception. It is good that we had a lot of scoring chances. But it is not encouraging that the opponent was allowed to have plenty of chances too. However, for us today everything worked out well.
