Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 4–3 overtime win over Spartak.
– Today's game was in Tatar style. Of course, we had to give a gift to the fans who came to the game to cheer for us. I hope we made them happy. Congratulations to everyone on the victory. We played great, despite the fact that we lost a two–goal advantage. Nevertheless, the opponent is on fire, a great team. It is not a surprise that Spartak is now in the lead. We blocked 26 shots. Pastukhov even lost a tooth. This shows how difficult victories are to get. Therefore, I repeat, congratulations to the guys on this win! Let's move on, we have two away games left before a short break
Spartak Head Coach Alexei Zhamnov:
– We were preparing for this game, realizing that it would be a tough game. Also taking into account that we had a bad last game. I am glad that the guys fought to the very end. There was a bit of a lack of character in overtime.
