Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media after a following 1–2 loss against Salavat Yulaev.
– This is our fourth game against Salavat Yulaev. We have probably gotten to know each other well enough by now. Until the second conceded goal, the game, in my opinion, was a close one. There weren't many chances at either end of the net. Both teams tried to minimize mistakes and play more reliably. When we conceded the second goal, we had to play 100% offensively. We also faced counterattacks. Unfortunately, we couldn't score. Congratulations to our opponents on the win!– Belozyorov and Dolganov did not play today.
– Unfortunately, they, along with Pastukhov, were injured in the last game. It was their health that kept them out of the game.
– What was the reason for such a low–scoring game?
– If any coach knew the answers to such questions, the games would probably be more productive. I have said more than once that we have streaks where we score one goal each, and then streaks where we score three, five, or more. It is so difficult to explain.
