Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 3–4 shootout loss against Vityaz.
– We did not start quite as we should have. The opponent was motivated after three defeats. It was clear that they were fired up, they immediately rushed into attack. Starting from the second period, we regrouped, and this allowed us to change the situation for the better. But there were good goals. At the end of the game, we could have taken the lead and won it in regulation time. In overtime, both we and the opponent had chances to get a win. Shootouts are a skill of players and goaltenders. So I think that it is not a lottery. Congratulations to the guys on the point we got. They did a great job. Let's move on.
