– You scored a hat trick of assists. How would you rate your and the team's performance?– I do not like evaluating my own game. The team played well and executed the game plan set by the coaching staff. We scored plenty of goals, put together some nice plays, and really enjoyed the hockey.
– Did things get a bit nerve–wracking toward the end?
– Yes, Barys scored a goal and pushed forward, forcing us into some errors, but our goaltender played brilliantly. We managed to close out the game with a win.
– You have a flight ahead – nearly seven hours in the air – and the next game is tomorrow. Is the team physically ready for that?
– Of course we are ready; there is no other option. We will try to recover on the plane, then go out tomorrow and do our job.
