ROUND 1 GAME 1: TRAKTOR 4–3 NEFTEKHIMIK 03/01/2022

Neftekhimik lost in Game #1 to Traktor 3–4.

In the first period, Neftekhimik struck first when Vyacheslav Leshchenko scored his first goal of the series and first goal of the 2021/2022 Playoffs! 

Unfortunately, it didn't take long for Traktor to equalize, in the middle of the second period the game was tied up. Nevertheless, Neftekhimik regained the lead when Pavel Poryadin scored his first goal of the series on the power play. Traktor evened the score for the second time on the power play.

In the third period, Ansel Galimov gave Neftekhimik a one-goal lead. Traktor tied the score 3–3 late in the third period. Traktor's fourth goal right at the end of the third period was the game-winner.

The series will stay at «Valery Belousov Traktor Arena» in Chelyabinsk for Game 2. Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
