Reaktor got a win over SKA Academy 1–2.
From the very start of the game, both teams played fast–pacedhockey. Reaktor scored frist goal of the game in the fifth minute.
Ivan Birdychkin had several opportunities to score in the second period, yet the scoreline remained unchanged.
The third period was defined by end–to–end counterattacks and a commitment to playing a simple, reliable game. After earning a power play – following a major penalty assessed to the home team's captain for slashing – Amir Gizyatov and Alexander Panov scored magnificent goals. The Academy team’s attempt to stage a comeback by pulling their goaltender for an extra attacker in the final seconds proved unsuccessful. A well-deserved 2–1 victory for Reaktor!
