The KHL Hockey Lesson was held at Neftekhim Arena, bringing together over 2,000 elementary school students from the city, their parents as well as their teachers. The event was organized as part of the Kontinental Hockey League's project to promote hockey among young people and increase interest in the KHL.
Neftekhimik forward Nikita Artamonov, Neftekhimik Hockey School Player, participated in the meeting.
The event was rich and interactive. One of the highlights was the quiz "Guess the Hockey Player's Equipment." The questions generated a huge buzz: children eagerly raised their hands, eager to give the correct answer, and the host had to struggle to maintain order in the hall, which at that moment resembled a bustling beehive.

The pregame warm–up between the JHC Reaktor and JHC Chaika (Nizhny Novgorod) teams, which played a game immediately after the KHL lesson, made a special impression on the young fans. The opportunity to see the young hockey players' warm up so close gave a huge excitement and a keen interest in the game.
At the end of the lesson, each young fan received a free educational book, "The ABCs of Hockey," which will help them better understand the rules and specifics of the game. Furthermore, the children and their parents received invitations to Neftekhimik's upcoming home game—an excellent introduction to the world of hockey.

The event's finale was an autograph session with Nikita Artamonov. The athlete made time for everyone who wanted one: the autograph line stretched for dozens of meters, and the children's joy at meeting a player of their favorite team in person was truly priceless.
