– You scored first goal of the game. Did it fire up your team?– Nothing but positive emotions; it’s great that I scored. I just had to put it in the net – Kirill Stolyarov did all the heavy lifting.
– It’s the first win of the new season. What was the mindset going into this game?
– We aim to win every game. Winning at home is especially satisfying; we’ll keep playing hard and keep winning. I can’t single anyone out — everyone battled, put their bodies on the line, and blocked shots to earn this win.
– There are a lot of guys on the team playing their first season in the JHL. How are they settling into the team and the league?
– It’s going great; we’re supporting them. We have a fantastic, close–kneet eam.
