After thirteen seconds of the starting faceoff, Traktor scored first goal of the game. A little bit later, Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin tied the game up.

In the second period, Evgeny Mityakin scored his second of the game. Traktor tried to tie the game up, but, Filipp Dolganov did his best and kept his team in the game.
Five minutes before the end of the third period, Jean–Sebastien Dea scored last goal of the game.
