– The big question is: how did you manage to win?– It was a chaotic start. The score did not reflect how the game actually felt. We were down by two goals. During the break, we regrouped, the coach gave us instructions, and we managed to turn the game around.
– What exactly did you change?
– We really just needed to play our own game. We improved our finishing and everyone settled down. We managed to score some crucial goals.
– How physically demanding was it – playing two games in a row, the flight, the time zone change?
– It is definitely tough. I did not play the last game, so I was fresher than the others. Today, I tried to give it my all. It is great that we won.
– Before the game, there was a joking mood in the locker room about how winning today would not be easy.
– That was just on the surface. Deep down, everyone was fired up – ready to battle, win, and give 100%!
