VYACHESLAV BUTSAYEV: "We got power play in OT and we did not score"

 Head coaches at the postgame press conference summed up the results of the game.

The head coach of HC "Neftekhimik" Vyacheslav Butsayev :

- I would like to congratulate away team on a victory. I agree that in this game goaltenders were the best players on the ice. We did not like our way of playing in the first period. We made a lot of mistakes. When we took the lead 2:1, we thought, for some reason, that we could easily score the third goal. I think that it was underestimating of opposing team. We got a power play in OT but did not score.

- It was a 50-50 game. What was the reason for this?

The head coach of HC "Kunlun RS" Curt Fraser:

-Both teams made mistakes. Maybe fans like this kind of game when one team takes advantage and after few minutes another team do it. But coaches hate this.

My colleague Vyacheslav Butsayev did a great deal of work. He has a very good team. Nevertheless, we got 2 points today. We look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

Vyacheslav Butsayev:

- Thank you! We will prepare for these games. This season, "Kunlun" is playing much better than last year. The lineup of the team is more experienced. Almost all players from North America.

And about 50-50 game ... One team made a mistake, other team used it. This is hockey, this is emotions. Here, those who make less mistakes will win.

- Vyacheslav Butsayev, quite a lot of young players fell under the rotation. Is it a planned rotation or is it due to the fact that someone did not meet to your expectations?

- Today we have this lineup of the team. Some were injured. It is clear that young players will not play without any mistakes. Nevertheless, without the experience of such games, they will not grow up in professional terms.
