Yegor Popov: «It is good that we managed to get a victory»

Neftekhimik forward Yegor Popov speaks with the media after a following 4–3 win against Severstal.

– Yeah, that was a good game and I think the fans liked it. About the game… we need to get wins without bad plays. At the end of the second period, we made a bad change and conceded a goal. Severstal was on fire after that and tied the game up. It is good that  we managed to get a victory.

– Both teams got plenty of penalties.

– Severstal have young guys in the roster. They tried to win and we too. That is why there were plenty of penalties.

– Neftekhimik fought to the very end and got two wins in a row. That was not easy. There are two more games with teams, who are battling for the playoffs. Do the team mentaly ready for upcoming games?

– The fact that we get wins at the last minutes of the game gives us kind of a boost.
