Neftekhimik lost to Avangard 3–4 (SO).

Grigory Seleznyov and Evgeniy Kashnikov helped Neftekhimik take a 2-0 lead in the first period. Seleznyov scored his first KHL goal.

In the second period, Avangard made it 2–1. At the end of the period, Danila Popov brought back a two-goal advantage.

Unfortunately, the opponent tied the game up and got a win in SO.
