«Neftekhimik» had an advantage in the first period. In the second period Andrei Kostitsyn got a penalty (5 + 20) and «Spartak» had 2-man advantage. Our PK unit did a great job and did not let to score. Pavel Poryadin, Alexander Bryntsev and Andrey Chivilev made it 3:0 in the second period.
Mikhail Byakin scored at the first minutes of the third period. Nevertheless, «Spartak» did not give up and scored 2 goals. Aleksandr Kucheryavenko scored a game-winning goal at 6:40 mark. By the way, Pavel Poryadin scored 3 (1 + 2) points.
