Artyom Blazhiyevsky scored first goal of the game. By the 10th minute, German Tochilkin and Jean–Sebastien Dea made it 2–1 in favor of Neftekhimik.Midway through the second, Vladimir Bryukvin and Alexander Rykov scored two goal in a 15 second span. After that, Artyom Serikov brought back to Neftekhimik its two–goal advantage. Later, Anton Burdasov scored before the break.
Early in the third, Dmitry Zhukenov made it 5-3. Traktor scored a shorthanded goal to get this game into overtime. After scoreless 5 minutes of overtime, our team was not lucky enough to get two points in shootout series.
