Neftekhimik took the lead in the first – Bulat Shafigullin scored in the sixth minute. Lada scored its first goal 35 seconds later and took the lead.

Midway through the second, Andrei Belozyorov scored on the power play and tied the game up.

In the third, Alexander Dergachyov made it 3-2 on the power play. Five minutes before the end of the third, Lada scored its third goal and the game went into Overtime.

Neftekhimik defenseman Nikita Khlystov scored a game–winning goal with a great solo effort.
